Spread the Wellness Packing Event - May 25, 2018
Our volunteers packed ovcr 50 Wellness Kits stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wipes, floss, mouthwash, toothbrush and paste, deodorant, bottled water and a granola bar for distribution on the streets and to the shelter.
Hitting the Street - Newark, New Jersey
The CHF team made a trip to Newark, New Jersey to distribute Wellness Kits face to face to people living on the street. On our trip we met some amazing people like Monique and Raul (pictured above) in high spirits and hopes of getting out of their situation.
Giving a Helping Hand to Our Community Friends
The CHF team headed to Family Promise of Hudson County to deliver Wellness Kits to their guests. Family Promise of Hudson County is a program that houses homeless families in places of worship around the county. There we met with Ben, a volunteer who’s been devoting his time and energy to maintaining and providing a safe location for families suffering from homelessness. We look forward to continuing to push our efforts to support our community.
