Our Mission
Our goal is to help people by providing basic hygienic and personal care items to improve the overall health and well-being of people experiencing poverty or homelessness.
We strive to build relationships with our community and organizations that serve the homeless and low-income families. We encourage people and organizations that we work with to voice what their dire needs are so we can do our part to close the gap on obtaining these items of necessity.
We are focused on giving our neighbors in need the tools necessary to stay clean and healthy with dignity.
Our Vision
Some of the most fundamental human needs are to feel safe and healthy.
We at Crescent Hearts Foundation are dedicated to assisting people meet their most basic needs so that those in poverty and/or experiencing homelessness can focus on getting back on their feet to achieve long term goals.
We are inspired by Abraham Maslow's, Hierarchy of Needs, which theorizes that people are unable to focus on any higher goals than their current level unless their basic needs are met first. Thus, if one's basic needs are not met it leaves an individual incapable and often unmotivated to attain a higher level of goals (job security, sobriety, mental health, and self-actualization) as depicted on the pyramid to the left.
